We are ready to go to the other Tower tomorrow. We have our cart and wagon packed and ready and have a folding gocery cart in the cart in case we need it. We are prepared to have to stay over there for a couple of days in case we have to stay in one of the apartments. If it is easy to get over there and back, then we can go back and forth as we search the places over there. But, if it is hard to go back and forth, then we are going to have to choose an place to stay, search a couple of floors and then take our supplies back to our place before doing it all again a couple of floors up or down.
Barbie even suggested that we might find a better place to be and we might want to move our stuff over there. I don't know, but the thought of having a balcony with large sliding doors where we could grow food is tempting. I am going to have to try to keep an open mind and not be too attached to my little place. If we find some apartment that is really nice and has a big balcony with large sliding glass windows, I might just be tempted.

I think I've eaten salad for almost every meal since we started getting fresh lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers. I found some powdered ranch and Barbie found some powdered milk, so with water, we have something resembling ranch. To be prepared for being busy for a few days, we picked all the veggies that are ready and have packed them in a cooler to take with us. We also took some two liter bottles of water and put them upside down so the water comes out slowly as the dirt dries out. It isn't perfect, but should keep them watered longer than just watering them well before we leave.
I am nervous about going into the other Tower. Barbie and I have gone through enough of our Tower to know that the stairwells are clear and we have a plan for dealing with zombies in the halls. All the floors have a similar floor plan and we know that most of the apartments have a very similar floor plan. We have dealt with undead in lots of apartments in our Tower and know where the corners are going to be to hide behind and where the halls are in most of the places that lead to the bedrooms.

Over there, the apartments have a few floor plan options, but you could also make a custom floor plan of your own, for a price. The places there could be any configuration of rooms and we have no way of knowing what to expect when we go through the door. We also have not been in the stairwells, so they could all be overrun with undead and we might have to just turn around and come back here. We don't know if the hallways are full, we don't know how many people might live on each floor like we do here. Since we know approximately how many bedrooms are on each floor in our Tower, we can make a pretty educated guess how many people might be on that floor. With the places over there, someone could have three bedrooms and live alone, where here, most of the places only have two bedrooms and most of them were lived in.
Well, I guess I shouldn't try to borrow trouble and just try to not think about it for the rest of today. We are ready and that is all I need to know about tomorrow. We should watch a stupid funny movie and eat some salad. I'm going to talk to Barbie about doing just that and will write again later.
